Fairbrook Medical Centre

Fairbrook Medical Centre has been established for over 50 years and serves Borehamwood as well as parts of Elstree and Shenley. Our team includes GPs, Nurses, Healthcare Assistant as well as our Practice Manager, our Deputy Practice Manager, Reception and Administrative Staff.

Comprehensive Care

At Fairbrook we offer a full general practice service and in addition run specialist clinics for children, diabetics, asthma and COPD sufferers, patients with a history of coronary heart disease, patients requiring long-term wound care, and women who are pregnant or postnatal. Contact Hertfordshire and South Midlands on  on 01707 361 204 for services we do not provide.  We are also a Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre for the locality.

High Standards

It is our central aim to provide a high standard of medical and nursing care to all our patients. We aim to treat all our patients promptly, courteously and in complete confidence. We feel it is important for you to know who you are speaking to, so our practice staff all wear name badges and identify themselves on the phone.

This website is designed for both existing patients and those considering registering with us. It tells you about our services, how to access them and some general information about how our practice operates.

Flu Update

Fairbrook Medical Centre kindly encourages ELIGIBLE patients to attend for flu vaccination at the Surgery as opposed to using alternative private and pharmacy providers.  Your flu vaccine has already been ordered for you.  Have you missed out Saturday Walk in Clinics?  Don't worry it's not too late.  We have Bookable Sunday clinics and other times to suit.  Having your flu vaccination at the surgery allows us to keep an accurate record of your vaccination and health information, offer clinical support if required and ensure we can provide this service year after year. We did not send out invitation letters this year, if you are not sure if you should have the Flu vaccination on the NHS please ring us.

If you are on blood pressure medication, please come in for a B/P check at the surgery. We also have some scales and height measurer at reception.

Set up Online Ordering

If you would like to register for this online service please download the 'Online Services Application Form' from our website and return it to us in person, along with a valid form of identification, for example photo ID or your passport.

In the month of January 2018.
