We are proud to announce that Fairbrook Medical Centre has officially been awarded Active Practice status by the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP), in partnership with Sport England.
This accreditation recognises our commitment to reducing sedentary behaviour and increasing physical activity among both our patients and staff. As an Active Practice, we are taking positive steps to encourage healthier lifestyles by:
- Promoting physical activity during and outside of consultations
- Supporting staff wellbeing through active working practices
- Creating a more movement-friendly environment at the surgery
- Engaging with our local community to champion activity and wellbeing
